Freestore Foodbank's 31st Annual Rubber Duck Regatta is here, and while the race may be virtual, its impact is profoundly real. This isn't just a fun tradition; it's a chance to bring hope and nourishment to children, right here at home.
This year, the Rubber Duck Regatta has added new mission-aligned prizes, a $10,000 grand prize, $100 a week for a year in groceries and $50 a week for a year in gas that hopefully eases some economic pressure a family may be experiencing. While the thrill of winning fantastic prizes (including a potential KEMBA Credit Union $1 million!) are exciting, the true victory is found in the lives you transform.
Since its inception in 1995, under the guidance of the late Bob Edwards, The Freestore Foodbank's Rubber Duck Regatta is a powerful reminder of what we can achieve together. By buying a duck you’re helping to ensure that no child in our hometown goes to bed hungry. Let's make this year's event the most successful one yet.
